In 2005 when they bought the house there was a big tree in the front garden and a few beds either side of the path to the front door. The back was grass, just grass! In 2006 they decided they needed water and the pond was built. Every year new and imaginative changes were made including a new stone patio and in 2014 an extension of the pond to include a stream. The natural elements of this water oasis make you believe that it has always been like this – a restorative place to relax and contemplate nature.
