HGC Pop-Up Tours – 07/31/2022 – Greenwood Centre

The Greenwood Centre for Living History is an iconic location in Hudson. It is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization which has been preserving and maintaining the interests, stories, dreams and accomplishments of Phoebe Nobbs Hyde, its last inhabitant.

The beautiful gardens are maintained by master gardener Stephanie Morris. She honors the history and ties the design of the garden together with pink phlox, which were originally planted 50 years ago.

Another interesting feature to note is a hawthorn tree, that despite having a hollow trunk, continues to thrive and produce gorgeous flowers in the spring.
